Breath practice or pranayama is a powerful method of invoking the Goddess within, and remembering that each breath we take is Shakti – the Goddess herself. As we drink the universal life force through intentional breathing, we stimulate and activate the power of Shakti Kundalini, the feminine force that creates and destroys.
Our breath is constantly moving in its cyclical nature of life and death – inhalations and exhalations, life bringing and life leaving. When we consciously connect to our breath as a form to connect to the Goddess – we embody the experience that She manifests to unfold the deepest connection to her within us.
